A display of scarecrows decorated by Downtown Businesses will adorn First Street during the month of October. Ballots for judging will be available to the public during the Thursday Farmers Markets

Haunted Depot

The Historic Benicia Railroad Depot will be transformed into a Haunted House this Halloween season! Admission is $3 adults & $1 for children under 8 years with a donation of a canned good, (without donation adults $6, children under 8 years $3) Pony Rides will also be availble

Halloween Costume Contest and Parade

Benicia Main Street offers a great time for kids of all ages during the popular Halloween costume contest and Trick or Treat. The local merchants on First Street get into the spirit of the holiday for all to shop and enjoy. At noon there will be a canine costume contest on the First Street Green with prizes and treats

Benicia Main Street draws many people to its popular Farmers Market. The Market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, gourmet food, delicious hot foods, arts and crafts, live musical entertainment, face painting.

Every First Friday of the month, May through October, 6-9 p.m.

Follow the flags down First Street where shops and restaurants offer festivities and prize drawings. A wide variety of musical styles by various bands can be enjoyed at different locations on First Street.
