CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR 2008

Torchlight Parade & Dance July 3, 6:30 p.m. Benicia’s 4th of July parade stretches all the way down First Street and includes music, dancing, floats, horses, clowns, and live entertainment. A street dance and live entertainment follow the parade on First Street. Picnic in the Park & Fireworks July 4, 12 noon-7 p.m. This event is a wonderful way to spend the 4th of July. Benicia’s City Park is filled with arts and crafts, delicious hot food, live entertainment, and children’s activities. Fireworks start shortly after 9 p.m. at the foot of First Street making this a great event for the whole family. Benicia Fine Art, Wine, & Jazz Festival July 26th 11:00am to 8:00pm & 27th 11:00am to 6:00pm First annual Fine Art Festival featuring local and Bay Area artists, live entertainment, gourmet foods, wine and beer areas, and an art area for children.
